Yoshifumi Ato
Yoshifumi Ato (born May 2, 1983) is a composer from Japan.Born in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, Japan, and raised in Suginami-ku, Tokyo, he began his professional music production career in his teens. He enrolled in the music school MesarHaus. Studied under composer/guitarist Yosuke Fukuba, music producer Motokazu Shinoda, studio musician Masahiro Inaba, and Masahiko Sato, known for introducing the Berklee method to Japan. As a bandleader, he made his major debut with the Japanese electro band "autumn leave's" on Nippon Columbia, which reached No. 1 on the iTunes dance chart. After that, he worked as a solo project "miu-clips" and then as a composer/music producer in the field of film music and commercial music. He has worked on corporate commercials and videos for Honda Motor, Bridgestone, VISA, JCB, Kirin, Mitsubishi Tokyo UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation, Nippon Foundation, Hawaii Tourism Authority, Square Enix, Shueisha, and others. He is also a studio owner, and his style is to vertically produce video music from classical and folk music recording/engineering to narration/foley/sound effects as a one-top producer, and he believes in realizing a clear vision for the production.
